Founded in 2018 by Sonny Nwachukwu, GatewayArts Productions creates, supports and promotes work primarily by artists of the African and Caribbean Diaspora. It’s mission is to produce, empower and provoke artists from a range of backgrounds and abilities to create new and radical artistic works across text, theatre and live performance. 

GatewayArts Productions aims to be a means for accessing and achieving new work and projects created  by (but not exclusively) Black, disabled or LGBTQ+ artists.  

Current Gateway Arts Productions include, Circles, a choreopoem (2019) and Triple Threat (2019) by Sonny Nwachukwu.

Project partners have included, Unlimited, Spirit of 2012, Poplar Union, British Council, IETM and Arts Council England.
