About Circles, A choreopoem

Circles is a choreopoem by Sonny Nwachukwu. Through spoken word, movement and sound, Circles is an exploration into perpetual psychospiritual clashes, provoked by the traumas of slavery. In Circles we follow Obi and Ada a black man and black woman reborn over time, and their repeated, often defeated attempts, to break the cycles of constraint that were set in motion by the trauma of slavery, & see each other as they really are.
